My project is intended to explore the chronicle of survival; during a time when life is still and contained.

Lockdown, Social distancing, and Quarantine; these were all unfamiliar words to us with respect to living our daily lives during the earlier times of the pandemic. However, the transition has come quite fast. Life appears as a static frame. No one knows what is next. The concept of time is muddled. But life goes on.

Within this sudden tumble in the flow of life, we are trying to accept the ‘new normal’ and adapt to it. Life as we knew has stopped existing. There is a void in all of our lives. We fill it up with our imagination. Within the four walls, we look at the little nuances of life. But this pandemic has questioned the very fact of human beings being the superior species. We are facing the fear of death in a way that we have never felt before. The fragility of life, the anxiety of death have been unmasked.

I believe, expressing this very notion of life can only be the best way to commemorate the flamboyant past of our lives and activities. Cinema as an art form inspires me to showcase this ideology. By portraying visuals of my surroundings gives me certain comforts and also reaching with this to the mass provides immense pleasure. That is the way I have chosen to walk.
